SESSION TYPES AND SCIENTIFIC FORMATS

USERN Congress 2025 will include different session formats that are targeted to participants with different levels of experience and professional backgrounds. A brief description for each of them is presented. This year the scientific theme of the congress is “Intelligence in Health: From Formal to PsychoBioMedical Sciences”.

Keynote Lectures

This targets a broad audience of specialists and non-specialists. The speaker is internationally renowned and respected leader in their fields. The speaker is invited to present a state-of-the-art review of a specific “hot” topic on cutting-edge science in medicine, biology, and interdisciplinary fields. 20-30 min presentation of the keynote lecturers.

Oral Presentation Sessions

These sessions present the most recent scientific findings. The speakers share details about their research questions, methodology, findings, applications, etc. Each oral presentation session includes two types of presentations: at the first of each session –  2-3 senior presentations (each 20 minutes), then, short junior presentations (each 6 minutes)

Virtual Presentation Sessions

These sessions present the most recent scientific findings virtually. Each virtual presentation session includes two types of presentations: at the first of each session –  3 senior presentations (each 20 minutes), then, short junior presentations (each minutes)

Meet The Expert Sessions

These are educational sessions and usually target a smaller audience. The topics are intended to be with practical relevance. The sessions should allow for discussion with the experts and include the exchange of personal views, direct interaction, discussion of cases. A speaker gives short introductory talk (10 min), on a practical topic, followed by interactive discussion and audience engagement.

Poster Presentations

They include presentation of accepted abstracts that have not been assigned to oral sessions. This provides an opportunity for juniors to present their experiences as poster presentations.

Workshops

They provide both the area and tools required for practical approach for testing and performance of techniques.

USERN Prize Awarding Festival

USERN Prize has been established to identify the most talented qualified junior scientists in all areas of science, who have devoted their times to science promotion and performed outstanding scientific projects so far. The bests in each field will be awarded each year to be distinguished to the scientific world and to be acknowledged for their humanitarian efforts. The USERN Prize Awarding Festival is held annually on November 10th, the Global Day of Science for Peace and Development.
